Our School Recognised for Outstanding Reading Growth
We are proud to share that our school has received formal congratulations from the NSW Department of Education Executive Director in recognition of our excellent 2025 NAPLAN reading results. Significant growth in both Year 3 and Year 5 reading exceeds our School Excellence Plan reading goal and highlights the strength of our whole-school approach to teaching and learning.
This achievement reflects the dedication and expertise of our teachers, the commitment of our students, and the strong partnerships we share with families and our wider community. We remain committed to building on this success through high-quality teaching, strong leadership and a continued focus on ensuring every student is supported to achieve their best.

Janel Nguyen
"My name is Janel and I am School Captain. Bonnyrigg is the place where I grew up with supportive teachers and friends. Bonnyrigg Public School isn’t just a place to learn, it’s a place to start friendships, have great memories, and just, be yourself!"
Henry Nguyen
My name is Henry and I’m the school’s Vice-Captain. To me, Bonnyrigg Public School is not just a school but a place in my heart where I grew up. What I want to change is how people can interact positively with one another and see that everyone has a friend to talk to and play with. I want everyone to walk out of our school gates and feel happy and proud to be a part of our incredible school."
Sianna Falzon

Alma Saboori
"I am Alma and I am a school prefect for 2026. Bonnyrigg Public School means everything to me. It has been the best school ever since I started here in Preschool. I want to impact the school by making sure all our Kindergarten friends feel safe and they belong here at BPS."
Tyson Truong
"My name is Tyson, and I am a prefect at Bonnyrigg Public School. To me, Bonnyrigg Public School isn’t just a school, but a community where everyone belongs. In this community, we have diversity and multiculturalism, showing that everyone belongs. As a prefect at Bonnyrigg Public School, I would like to leave this school with a change that matters, and seeing kids alone on the playground breaks my heart. So, I would like to introduce a group or club. The topic could be academic like history or science, a game room with board games, or anything that you want. I think that this idea will strengthen bonds, create new friendships, and give kids a chance to meet new people. The best part about this is that it is very flexible, so if you have an idea, the choice is yours."
Eric Le

It is not just a place for learning but a school full of pride.Bonnyrigg has a special place in my heart and it has the most precious place in my heart.Bonnyrigg is a place where I can interact with people, people with positive minds and loyal when it comes to bestfriends.I feel happy when I am in bonnyrigg it just makes me feel so positive and confident about myself. It is magnificent to be a part of this incredible school! Have a great day."
